Pioneer Picnic

Jacob Jensen protected all of these pioneer girls w/ his rifle. He's an excellent shot.

Morgan and Macie were cousins who crossed the plains together.

These pioneers know how to have a good time.

Good clean fun!!

The cutest baby on the trail. Good going Bethany and Josh!

Our ward pioneer picnic was a great time. I never knew I could spit a watermelon seed so far. The food was great and the games and conversation were even better! Steph we still need to have a stick pull re-match. I love getting together and playing games and just having fun as friends. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful friends. We love you all. Kris your final ward party went out w/ a bang. Good going girl! Kate you should be happy now because I added some new posts. Just remember I have a good excuse to be a little behind. In case our out of town friends and family don't know I was called as Relief Society Pres. a few weeks ago. I know go figure. I guess their first choices said no. I can say that I do have a deep love for the sisters in our ward. Thanks Kate for being my counselor and supporting me in this calling and thanks Rachael for being a great compassionate service leader, and thanks Kim for taking on Enrichment Night. You guys are the best!!

swimming

In case some of you haven't heard the Query's are moving. We are enjoying our last few swims in their pool. They are moving across town to a larger home. It's only twice the size of this home. We will all be able to get together without sitting on laps. Yeah!! We will miss the pool during those hot summer days. We know they are excited about their new home. The luxury of running next door will be gone. Now we will have to battle traffic and go across town to steal things from them. Can't wait to have a family get together at their new place. Congrats on your new house mom and dad. We love you.

Birthday Baptism

Daddy's Girl

The 2nd of 3 white dresses.

Our little family. This pic makes me look fat. However it's all I've got.

Friends 4-ever.

Look it's little Kim, Candy, and Kate

Today Hadyn is 8 and was baptized. I can't believe I have 2 girls who are baptized. Kirk's family all came to C-ville for church. Then we came back to our house for some awesome coney dogs. We celebrated w/ gifts and birthday cake. Then we went to the church for Hadyn's baptism. She looked so sweet in her white dress. There was a terrific turn out. It looked like sacrament meeting. Thanks family and friends. As soon as Hadyn found out that her birthday would be on Sunday she knew that she wanted to be baptized on her birthday. The talks were nice and there was beautiful music by the primary children. Thanks Heather. Following her baptism we invited everyone back to our house for cookies and hanging out. It was a great day and I hope that Hadyn will look back and have many fond memories. Hadyn we love you and are so proud of your desire to choose the right. 2 down and 1 to go. I can't believe it!! I'm too young for this. lol.

4th Fun

This 4th was one of the most fun ever! We played Phase 10 all morning w/Josh, Rona, Mike, and Stacy. Then in the afternoon our friends the Wixsons came over for a cook out and some Wii play. We had great food and a lot of fun. Later that night we all headed over to the golf course for the beautiful fireworks. The next day we went on my brother Mike's boat to Raccoon Lake. We had a terrific time tubing! Thanks Mike for the boat fun! I had a great time watching the guys hit the big waves. I caught some air on the tube myself. Good times!! Sunday we went to church, napped a little and then hung out at the Clarks w/ Josh and Bethany and the Prices. We are so blessed to have such great family and friends. We love you all.

Chicken Pox

We are almost out of quarantine now. Last Wednesday Briley had an itchy bump on her abdomen. I thought it was a bug bite or something and didn't think much about it. The next morning she got another bump on her abdomen and it looked like the chicken pox. Well Even though all 3 of our kids got vaccinated, all 3 of our kids got the chicken pox. We went to the doctor on Monday and they just verified what I already knew. They all 3 have the pox. Briley got 3, Hadyn got 1, and Macie got 4. They feel totally fine but we have been quarantined to our home to prevent spreading these to all of our friends and family. Briley and Hadyn are no longer contagious tomorrow. However, Macie still has a couple of days to go. I guess I'm still glad that we got the vaccine because it prevented them from getting a horrible case. A few bumps are no big deal. They just miss hanging out w/ all of their friends.
