Black Friday Slumber Party
Thanksgiving night we got home about 9:30. We had an awesome dinner at Gary and Carol's house. I had the best noodles ever made!!! The food was amazing. It's always fun to get together. The guys went hunting in the a.m. and the evening. Kirk didn't even see a deer. After rummaging through all the sales ads we realized that Michael's was open 6-9pm on Thanksgiving Day. All of the wives headed over to do some early sale shopping. We got back to our house around 9:30. Heather and Kate met me at our house for a mommy slumber party. We watched the movie Hancock and plotted our plan of attack for our black Friday shopping. We laughed and hung out until 2:30 a.m. Then we slept for 45 min and headed to Lafayette for shopping. We did excellent!! Kate and I did Black Friday a couple of years ago and we had a fabulous system. Her mom wanted to come w/ us this year but Kate said she couldn't keep up and didn't know our system. Heather shopped w/ Kate a couple of weeks ago and was able to prove herself worthy of shopping w/us. We shopped until about 1:30pm. It was a great time. I am soo blessed to have such wonderful friends. I love good food, great friends, and super deals. What a Great Day!!

High School Musical 3

Our girls are huge high-school musical fans. We bought our tickets a couple of days in advance to ensure our seats for opening night. The girls wore their shirts and sprayed their hair red in honor of the big event. I thought it was very well done. The sound track should be great! Thanks Kate and Elizabeth for helping us celebrate this exciting event!!
